Kristen gained her Bachelors of Animal Science Degree in 2016 from Berry College and has worked professionally with animals since, continuing her education on and gaining licensure as a Veterinary Medical Technician in 2024. She has experience in both large and small animal veterinary medicine and has also worked as a carriage driver in downtown Chattanooga.
Kristen has a passion for all animals but this is especially true of horses and cats, She has 6 cats of her own who were all rescues, some with permanent injuries and ongoing disabilities. She also has an interest in competitive shooting and was the 2016 Level One Mounted Shooting NATIONAL Champion!
Since beginning her career at CHAI, Kristen has developed an interest in proper pet nutrition and alternative veterinary medicine. We are very excited to welcome Kristen to our team and look forward to helping her further her veterinary knowledge to include alternative options!
