Shawna has lived in the Chattanooga area her whole life and in 2024 began working with animals by working at boarding/daycare facilities. She has always known she would like to work in a veterinary clinic since she has fostered a life-long love of animals. She was drawn to work at CHAI so that she could learn more about the integration of conventional and alternative services that make up a holistic veterinary practice.
Shawna and her fiance have been together for 6 years and have two dogs. Bo is a plott hound and Sir Pepperoni is a strange goblin mix and they help to keep their lives entertaining. In her spare time, Shawna likes playing video games, getting tattoos, and hanging out with her dog-sons.
