Meg is a graduate of Georgia State University with a B.A. in French and a concentration in French Literature. Shortly after graduation, Meg relocated to Chattanooga where she turned her passion for animals into a career. After a few animal-related jobs here and there, Meg found her home with CHAI in 2014, and has been there ever since. Meg loves her dogs (and pigeons) more than life itself and has focused much of her recent attention to learning about companion animal end-of-life care and pet loss grief. In 2025 Meg received her Companion Animal End of Life Doula Certification through UVM, followed by the Companion Animal Palliative and End-of-Life Care Veterinary Assistant Certification from the CHI institute, and her Veterinary Professional Peaceful Euthanasia Certification through the CAETA program. Meg is passionate about animals and the incredible bonds that we make with our pets. She believes that every relationship between a pet parent and their best friend is precious and she is here to offer support and guidance during the difficult end-of-life stage. In her free time, Meg enjoys painting and cuddling with her dogs; Blub, Seymour, and Figgy, as well as her two rescue pigeons; Nolan and Steve. She has two soul dogs, Violette and Simone, that she will always hold tightly in her heart.
