Brooklyn – Surgery Department Lead

Brooklyn started working in Veterinary medicine in 2021. While being our dedicated Surgery Department Lead she is also currently in school to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Brooklyn works closely with Dr. Katie to provide the most up-to-date surgery techniques to ensure the best care possible is provided to our patients. Dentistry is her absolute favorite part of surgery but she loves learning about all aspects.

When Brooklyn is not working or studying, she enjoys watching movies (huge fan of horror), listening to music (her favorite band is The Cure), or collecting oddities (teeth, bones, and taxidermy items) for her collection. At home, she enjoys spending time with her two cats and two dogs. Her crew consists of Renalla, a domestic shorthair, Cruella, a sphynx, Reaper, a standard poodle, and Spike, a chinese crested. They all get along together well and help keep things interesting with their antics.

Heather – CHAI Life Pet Nutrition Market Manager

Heather moved to Chattanooga from Chicago in search of warmer temperatures in 2017. She has worked in the veterinary industry as a receptionist since moving to our beautiful city. Quickly after her coming to join the CHAI team, we knew she was destined to manage her own department and she was asked to take over CHAI Life as the manager. She has taken the new challenge in stride and has helped to grow the store into a well functioning pet nutrition destination!

Heather is sometimes accompanied by Conrad, her rescued Doberman, behind the counter who helps assist her in customer service. At home, Conrad has to share his mom with 5 rescued cats, Pascal, Fergus, Roux, and Gravy. In her spare time, Heather enjoys gardening, baking, and antiquing with her daughter.
