Ashley has lived in Chattanooga all of her life and started her career in Veterinary Medicine in 2015. She graduated from Chattanooga State in 2019 as a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician and graduated from CHI Institute where she was able to expand her knowledge by integrating TCVM (Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine). A life-long learner, Ashley has also taken additional courses at CHI University where she focused on TCVM techniques and approaches around oncology. She has become Dr. Smith’s right hand when working with alternative cases and has an unmatched ability to help clients understand their pet’s disease process and the treatment path prescribed by the doctor. She was able to attend the AHVMA (American Holistic Veterinary Medicine Association) conference with Dr. Smith last year and brought back new knowledge to implement in treating our patients. She has a passion for helping pets diagnosed with cancer and is always researching the latest studies to ensure our patients are getting the benefit of the most up-to-date information possible. Ashley has three cats at home, Malice, Pip, and Tober and shares her human time with her husband Michael and two sons, Viktor and Wren.
